Where is the best place to move in Tennessee?

I am looking to relocate to Tennessee. I'm 25, artistic, love outdoorsy stuff. I love hiking and riding bikes. I want somewhere that is close enough to a big city, because I may be going to grad school or working in the school systems. Any ideas, let me know. Thanks for your help!
