Blackheads, please answer!?

well i try everything to get rid of my blackheads but nothing worked. so i tried squeezing them and a pore wash, they went down a lot! but not completely gone. i wore tiny amounts of foundation on my nose where they are, only twice and my blackheads look how they were before, they have come back. i only where the foundation to cover them up. i haven't worn foundation all week and the blackheads stayed small and unoticable, then all of a sudden when i apply foundation they come back. how can i stop this because covering them up makes me feel more confident, but i want to look nice without makeup also. does drinking water help? i wash my face EVERY evening though..
