Are wild raspberriess poisonous?

My friends are very outdoorsy people. Today while we were near the woods we found some wild raspberries. I told them my mom tells me they are poisonous but they told me otherwise (they know about this kind of stuff). My mom isn't outdoorsy at all. Anyways they each ate one to show me that they are fine so I tried one. I feel fine but now my mom is giving me heat about it. She says some of them are poisonous. Who is right?
